Está dedicado al estilo, a l. a. necesidad de que el orador conozca cómo debe hablar. Por encima de otras virtudes estilísticas, Aristóteles valora l. a. claridad y los angeles propiedad temática en los angeles prosa, que se diferencia mucho de los angeles poesía tanto en materia como en finalidad, y por tanto debe evitar su estilo elevado y recursos como los símiles (aunque no las metáforas, «puesto que todos las usan en los angeles conversación»); otras características apreciadas son los angeles exactitud gramatical, los angeles ausencia de ambigüedades y el uso de términos específicos en vez de genéricos. Se trata además el uso de circunloquios, el ritmo de l. a. prosa y l. a. estructura de los periodos.
